Next Game: Longview will take on the Lufkin Panthers from John Outlaw Memorial Field at Abe Martin Stadium in the 83rd meeting between the two schools, at 7:30 PM on Friday, August 310th.

The Lobos lead the series, 41-37-4. Longview won the last meeting, 35-28, in 2017.

LOBOS FINALIZE 2019 FOOTBALL SCHEDULE

Defending Class 6A, Division II state champion Longview will open the season against three-straight rivals before travelling back to Louisiana for a reunion with a familiar foe.

After knocking and knocking and knocking on the doorstep of bringing home a state championship, the Longview Lobos kicked the door down on Saturday.

Behind a gritty effort from the Longview offense and an even more gutsy effort from the Lobo defense, Longview claimed the Class 6A, Division II state championship and a perfect 16-0 season with a 35-34 win over Beaumont West Brook on Saturday at AT&T Stadium.
