LONGVIEW - The Longview Lobos and South Oak Cliff battled to a 6-6 deadlock here Friday night.
In the second quarter Mike Livingston tossed a screen pass to Gary Livingston, who scooted 58 yards for the lone South Oak Cliff touchdown.
Longview's touchdown was set up when halfback Moreland Rook intercepted a South Oak Cliff pass on the 28-yard line and returned it to the 3.
A series of penalties moved the ball back to the 11-yard line, then halfback Kenny McKinley broke loose over right tackle for the score. The try for conversion failed as the third quarter ended.
In the fourth quarter, neither team crossed the goal line.
